BASS provides 2.5 days of 1-hour tutorials (including Q&A) on topics in applied biopharmaceutical statistics, with a contributed poster session, followed by short courses, generally 2 course of 2 days length on topics in applied statistics. This format allows speakers to develop a subject in some depth. The moderate size of the symposium (50-70 attendees) and informal structure allows for the attendees to interact effectively with the speakers. BASS attendees are provided a flash drive with all of the presentations.
